Gather the two sides of the transfer
From the sending record, note the asset, selected network, destination address, and full transaction ID. From the receiving service, note its deposit instructions for that asset and the network it says it supports. Keep the two lists separate before comparing them.
If the record involves a bridge, it may require more than one transaction or network view. Ethereum’s bridge documentation explains that bridges connect separate blockchain environments. A destination-chain result is not established by a source-chain transaction alone.
Use the matching explorer
Open an explorer for the network identified by the sending record. Compare the full transaction ID and destination address. A successful search on the wrong explorer is not a substitute for checking the exact record you were given.
Skooby currently scans Bitcoin and Ethereum mainnet native movements. If the transfer used another network or a token outside that scope, use the appropriate official explorer or service documentation. Do not interpret an empty Skooby view as proof of a failed cross-chain transfer.
Ask a precise next question
If a receiving service controls the destination address, ask its official support whether it supports the asset on the network actually used. Include the transaction record and avoid sending account secrets. Its answer depends on its own infrastructure and policies.
If you control the destination yourself, consult the wallet’s official documentation for the specific asset and network. Do not follow unsolicited instructions to sign a transaction or pay a recovery agent. This guide does not establish that a mistaken transfer can be recovered.
